![]() | 1 pound ground sirloin |
![]() | 1 onion -- chopped |
![]() | 1 clove garlic -- minced |
![]() | 1 can diced fresh tomatoes |
![]() | 1 can diced tomatoes with chiles (rotel) |
![]() | 2 cans tomato sauce |
![]() | 1 bottle beer -- (honey lager works well) |
![]() | dash pepper |
![]() | dash garlic salt |
![]() | dash oregano |
![]() | dash sugar or honey |
![]() | dash red pepper |
![]() | 4 tablespoons chili powder |
![]() | 1 tablespoon cumin powder |
![]() | 1 can chili hot beans or pinto beans, drained |
![]() | 1 can light red kidney beans, drained |
Brown beef, onions and garlic together. Sprinkle with
pepper. Drain off any excess fat. Pour in tomato sauce, tomatoes and beer.
Add spices. (adjust spices to personal preference) Simmer for an hour. Add beans
and heat another 15 minutes.
